Students listened to Sedaris reading the audiobook version of his essay "Me Talk Pretty One Day", and the the BBC radio version of him reading his essay "Six to Eight Black Men".

Discussion of what a live audience brings to comedy.

Homework: Listening to the BBC radio version of Sedaris reading "Me Talk Pretty One Day" to a live audience, and compare it with the audiobook version that has no live audience.
