Today, the teacher taught students how to embed quotes into essay tests , and the techniques/rules surrounding quotations, citations, bibliographies, etc.  Following this, the teacher carried out her oral presentation on Small Avalanches for the class.


Students will receive an email with the following documents to help them prepare for their upcoming oral presentations:
  • a PowerPoint with the instructions/steps to prepare for the oral presentation;
  • a PowerPoint with the rules/advice for the oral presentation
    • the rules/advice were presented on the first day of class and can be found in the course book, but for those who missed the first day of class, it is essential that they go through the course book or the PowerPoint.
  • the teacher's model PowerPoint from her Small Avalanches presentation;
    • please note that students do not have to do their PowerPoints exactly the way the teacher did, it's just a sample.
  • a recording of the teacher's Small Avalanches presentation;
    • the recording is an audio clip only, so students should listen while going through the PPT at the same time.
Next class: students will be carrying out their Persuasive Writing test.  Good luck to all!

Today, TP4 carried out their Descriptive Writing test.

Those who were unable to carry out the test due to a Covid-19 related absence, will be informed in the near future about when and how they will be able to carry out the test.
