Students were given a short diagnostic exercise followed by discussion of the programme and evaluation.Test 1 - March 22 - translation of a journalistic type of text. The test is worth 40% of the final mark.Test 2 - May 10 - translation of a financial text. The test is worth 40% of the final mark.Oral presentations - April 26, May 3 and 8. Students will be given a Portuguese text one week before the presentation date. They will work in pairs on the translation of the text into English. The oral assessment will consist of a power point presentation of the original and translated text for discussion and analysis. The oral presentation is worth 20% of the final mark.
