O seminário de pós-graduação Tópicos Avançados de Filosofia Moderna e Contemporânea 2021-2022
irá organizar-se em torno do estudo do problema da indução. Começa-se
por considerar a exposição do problema, tal como a mesma foi feita por
David Hume, e, em seguida, irão ser consideradas diferentes propostas de
solução para o problema, nomeadamente, as de Kant, Reichenbach, Popper,
Black, Goldman e van Cleve.
ADVANCED TOPICS IN MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHY
The post-graduate seminar Advanced Topics in Modern and Contemporary Philosophy 2021-2022
will revolve around the problem of induction. We will begin by
considering David Hume’s treatment of the problem and proceed from there
to the consideration of different attempts at solving it, namely, the
attempts made by Kant, Reichenbach, Popper, Black, Goldman and van
Cleve.
