The American Revolution - causes:
- The state of British finances in the aftermath of the Seven Years War 81756-1763);
- The lack of autonomy of local governments after the annulment of previous colonial charters and the appointment of governors by the British parliament;
- the void of American colonialists's participation in Parliament;
- the heavy taxation on the colonies.
