Today, TP2 finished learning how to write an editorial. Those who
missed today's class should consult the PowerPoint and read the model
editorial (called 'How to Write
an Editorial' & 'Model Editoral - Game of Thrones' availble in the
How to Write an Editorial folder) that is available on the shared Google
drive.
We then began reading Text 6: Shirley Ballas's What good is the sparkle of Strictly if young people
in Britain aren’t getting the chance to dance?
Homework: optional
homework assignments (i.e. your editorials) are now welcome! Please
send these as soon as possible so that I can get them marked before the
written test date! Please ensure that you send these in Word or an open office equivalent. NO PDFS! Students should also read Text 6 (we only have a couple of paragraphs to go before finishing it next class)
Next class:
TP2 will finish reading Text 6 and jump to Text 9.
