The teacher and the students went through the comprehension section of the mid-term test and everyone reached the same conclusion:

students must READ THE QUESTIONS CAREFULLY if they are to do well in the comprehension section of the END OF TERM EXAM.

Students were taught proper puncutation and quoting techniques which should be adopted for their major writing assignment and for the composition question in the end of term exam.
