Warm-up: more common errors in English
Brainstorming of the common elements of fairytales to define
the genre. Exploration of the genre of fractured fairytales and the ways in
which the tales can be fractured, through a focus on The True Story of the
Three Little Pigs and the postmodern version of The Little Red Hen
in The Stinky Cheeseman. In pairs, students read fractured versions of different
tales and presented summarised versions of them to the group.
For homework students completed grammar exercises on word
formation and error correction.
