Discussion of the texts "Soweto - Journey to Freedom" (pages 60-63) and "South Africa unease plays out on campus" (pages 76-79)  as an introduction to Unit 2 - The Rainbow Nation. How to write a discursive essay. HOMEWORK: 1. Read the short story "The Guilt" by Rayda Jacobs (pp.68-74) and answer the question on page 75. This story will be discussed on Monday 20th November. 2. Write a discursive essay - instructions on page 64; the essay is due on 22nd November.
