Presentation of course content and calendar, expected learning outcomes and evaluation methods

The  link to the pre-recorded Zoom lesson may be found in Moodle.
Students have been given the password for Moodle, where they will find the course calendar, the Programme and supplementary materials.
In the recorded Zoom lesson, students will become acquainted with the Programme, course calendar, requirements and assessment criteria, which are as follows:

o   Attendance and participation in class discussions (20%); 

o   Two short in-class written assignments (20% - 10% each) ; 

o   Research project to be presented and discussed in class (25%)

o   Written Test (35%)


Detailed guidelines for the  research project may be found in  the Course Pack.


Important dates:

10 November: Submission of the written Research Project Proposal in Moodle

25 November: Written Test


Office Hours

Wednesday: 16h30-17h30 by prior arrangement.

Students should send me an email, by 6 pm on Tuesday, to paulah@letras.ulisboa.pt to request a meeting. Links to the Zoom meeting will be sent on Wednesday morning. If an office hours session is complete when students send a request, they will be put on the list for the session the following week. 

STUDENTS ARE ADVISED TO BUY THE STUDENTS' BOOK IN THE GREEN PHOTOCOPY SHOP THIS WEEK, AS WE WILL START WORKING WITH IT NEXT WEEK
