Students are presented with the terms "east, west, north, south" and are presented with different maps and talk about where the cities or countries are.

The students practice the locations through exercises in the online teaching portal.

Students are given some pictures of the street plans and asked to talk about them using the structures and vocabulary for places (e.g., hospital, train station, etc.)

Presentation

The students present their apartments to the class using vocabulary for home objects, colors, there is/are, and location. The students ask the presenter questions after the presentation.

The structure for telling where the objects/people are is presented through a picture of a room.

Pair work: The students talk about and describe the pictures in the book.

The students listen to a song which includes the structure "there is" and complete the lyrics.

They are presented with the vocabulary related to places (e.g., train station, airport, hospital, etc.)

As a whole-class activity, the students tell what there is/isn't in their city or in Lisbon and create an extended talk about it.
