Guest lecture with Dr. Mariola Ruiz Rodríguez,  University of Córdoba (Erasmus exchange) on the representation of lesbian vampires within Gothic narratives, focusing on both literary and audiovisual texts from the 19th to the 21st century. It examines the evolution of this figure from its origins in Sheridan Le Fanu’s Carmilla (1872) to contemporary reinterpretations such as the 2019 film adaptation Carmilla and the Netflix series First Kill (2022), based on V. E.  Schwab’s short story (2020).
