Writing in class : write a short story around  "Automat" by Edward Hopper  by building up a profile of the woman in the painting, the atmosphere, the situation.

HOMEWORK 
students are expected to do the grammar and vocabulary exercises from the following  pages 64 (countable and uncountable uses of nouns), page 68 (prepositions), 70 (narrative verb forms), 71-72 (modal verbs), 73 (used to vs would)  74 (future plans), 79-80 (degrees of adjectives).
