TP7 read and did the comprehension questions on the Accommodation text.
We will be doing the listening and speaking exercises next class.
Reading Comprehension and Listening: Education

After re-reading the Education text, students worked in pairs to answer the comprehension questions and then did the listening exercises.
For the speaking exercise (Speaking: the Education System), the students got into pairs and talked a bit about what they thought is right and/or wrong with primary and/or secondary school education in their respective countries. They also went to share some of the experiences they had in school with the group.

Speaking: Describing yourself
Students got in pairs and asked each other the following questions:
What’s your name?
Tell me about your family and/or your pets?
What do you do?
What three things do you like most?
What three things do you dislike most?
If you could do anything – or be anywhere – what/where would it be?
Any other questions...
When they finished, they swapped.
Students then went on to read the Education text and we addressed all vocabulary issues.
Reading (+ vocab), Listening and Speaking: Job application and Describing People

Comprehension: students read the 'Personal Statement' texto from the 'Job Application' section of their coursebook and answered the questions.
Listening: students listened (3x) to a recording entitled 'Describing People'.
Students will carry out the speaking exercise next class.
Grammar - Prepositions - Part 2

Students learned continued to learn about the basics of Location Prepositions and then went on to learn about Time, Position and Direction Prepositions.
