Students went on to do the following listening exercise:

Students who missed class should listen to this at home and try to answer the questions:

B1.1 In-Class Writing: Transport

Write a short piece (half a page of A4 or a full page of A5) describing the best or worst journey (plane, car, bus, train, etc.) you have ever been on.

Presentation #4 - Conspiracy theories

Students gave presentations on several different conspiracy theories.
Reviewed the structure and certain language/grammatical aspects afterwards.

Students did their BINGO! game after having learned about how to structure sentences using the present perfect (e.g. "Have you ever gone tango dancing?") and 'do' (e.g. "Do you enjoy rock climbling?").

Following this game, students went on to the reading exercise:

Students were instructed to do their second optional homework assignment:

  • Homework - B1.1 Writing: Nothing but Free Time

    Write a piece about what you would do with your time if you won the lottery and why. The assignment should be 150-200 words long.  Please write your name and class number (TP1) at the beginning of your assignment.

Did vocabulary exercises on character and behavior (collocations).

The teacher then continued to mark and discuss the in-class assignments from the previous week.
