Screening of the 20-minute opening sequence of Anthony Mingella's The Talented Mr. Ripley for close analysis by students. 

Illustration of how the director placed very specific clues about the unconventional narrative arc of the film right in front of the view, but because of the way they are presented viewers do not heed them, and so there will still be elements of surprise when the story actually unfolds.
