Today, we read Andrew Anthony's 'I'm English but what does that mean?' and debated loads in class!
(But I'm going to start picking on people so that it's not always the same people speaking! Oh, yes, I'm going to start picking on people...)
Please note that this editorial can be used as a source for your upcoming essay homework assignment should you happen to pick one of the first two topics from the list of available topics.
Next class: Reading: “What does it mean to be British and does it still matter?”

Today we went through the instructions for the upcoming essay assignment which is due on the
24th of March.
The PowerPoint with the instructions has been uploaded onto the shared drive, as has the model essay which we went through in class as well.
Students are recommended to get in touch with the WILL Lab at FLUL at the earliest opportunity as they can help you with your essay. Their contact details are in the PowerPoint. The WILL Lab is awesome!
Next class: we will read the editorial 'I'm English but what does that mean?' by Andrew Anthony.
