We read and summarised James Turber's short story "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" - discussed summarisation techniques.


Began reading Brigit Flohr's essay "Representation of the Self and the Other in Eighteenth Century Travel Writing" in preparation for the summarisation exercise to be carried out in the next class. 

Students must read the rest of the essay and make notes for the next class.
