Grammar - Conditionals - Parts 1 and 2

Today, TP4 began to learn about conditionals.  Students who missed today's class should go into the shared Google drive and read the PowerPoint to catch up.  We read the introduction and all of Parts 1 and 2.  Students who missed today's class should do the homework exercises that are on the PowerPoint and can be accessed on englishpage.com.  Essentially, you should go to englishpage.com, go to the Conditionals section, and you should do exercises 1 - 3.

Next class: we will continue to study conditionals.

Students write a formal essay to identify their ability to write a structured text including:

Introduction (hook, contextualisation, thesis statement and rationale)
Body - Topic sentences, controlling ideas and supporting arguments
Conclusiion- restating the thesis, summarising the main strands and clincher
