Analysis of a text from my workbook about the possibility of a reboot of the film "Blade Runner" in the future. showing of possibilities of translating the title in English in several different manners due to the nature of the context in the text, the style of the Portuguese language for newspaper articles, the original translations of the title in Portuguese in Brazil and in Portugal and the difference in adjectivising titles in English in Portuguese.

Practical translation of the second text into English. Discussion on how to deal with translating between two realities which are so greatly oppesed. In this case they are association football clubs, which are private companies in the United Kingdom and are government supported social associations in Portugal (among other countries). Explanation of how business associations are organised differently in different countries, making translation of terms like CEO and Presidente da Mesa da Assembleia Geral somewhat complicated if we do not know how the structure of the company concerned is set up.

Translation of text from the anthology involving the language of tweets and Twitter. How should one approach the translation of realities which, in some cases, does not yet exist in the Portuguese language, such as computer terms in the 1980s and social media networking language in the 2000s and 2010s?
Bible Translations

Analysis of some examples from BELLOS, David "Is that a fish in your ear?" on changing of meaning when translating the Bible due to cultural lack of understanding in examples such as "white as snow" when using the Bible to preach to Native Americans in the Amazon jungle.
Explanation of how such extreme measures are also applicable in moderated form in translating everyday informative texts.
