The lecturer gave a session on archival structures (fonds, sub-fonds, series, and individual documents) and censorship studies. The lecture gave insights into the complexities of organising and interpreting historical records within the context of censorship research in Portugal.

Sts watched a short video on word for word versus sense for sense literary translation, created by Peter Constantine and Brian Sneeden from the University of Connecticut.

Then Sts took a short Google form quiz related to the video. They were asked to work in pairs.
