Prepositions - In/On/At - Location - Part 1

Students learned about the different uses of In/On/At as location prepositions.


Next class: we will carry on from the slide about how to use these prepositions within the context of 'the sea'.

We will then try some exercises on englishpage.com.  Following this, we will start looking at In/On/At as time prepositions, position and directional prepositions, if time allows.

All students have been emailed the prepositions PowerPoint and should have a look at it before class, time allowing.


Grammar review

Grammar review including question forms: open vs. closed, in relation to education.
Grammar review on sentence structure, including subjects (simple and complex), verbs, verbal phrases, and objects (direct and indirect). Students did several practical exercises.

Past continuous and Future Simple

Today students learned about the Past Continuous and the Future Simple.
