"Dead Men's Path" by Chinua Achebe continued: a) focus on vocabulary from the short story; b) analysing the main character, Michael Obi. How to write a character analysis essay: detailed outline of a five-paragraph essay (pages 50-52). A listening comprehension exercise: The Macbeth Ordeal. Grammar practice: connectives; past simple and past perfect. 

HOMEWORK: 1. Do the exercises on pages 90-93. 2. Write a character analysis of Mr Obi. Follow the instructions on pages 50-52. Write about 200 words. This assignment is individual and is due on November 11th. Please follow the rules for submission of written assignments (page 5).
