Writing a news report: (a) structure of a news report - the inverted pyramid; (b) in-class group writing of either (1) the story of Finch's art theft (pp.38-39) or (2) the news story of Mrs Anderson's murder (Exercise 5, page 32). HOMEWORK: 1. Finish the story/news report you started writing in class. 2. Do the exercises on pages 85-89 (countable vs uncountable nouns).
