Graham Norton's Problem Page: reading a letter of advice and discussing what kind of advice might be given. Letters 1 and 2 were read aloud by students and discussed.

HOMEWORK: Read letters 3-5, underline phrasal and prepositional verbs and look up unknown vocabulary.

Analysing students' emails: subject line; greeting; main message; closing. 

Feedback on the short composition written by students on the topic "How has the COVID-19 pandemic changed your life?": mistakes were highlighted in each of the students' compositions and, under the teacher's guidance, each student tried to correct those mistakes. HOMEWORK: Write a new improved version of the "Covid-19" composition to be submitted on Tuesday, 20th October.
