Reviewed the noun phrase and what it consists of: determiners, premodifier, head and postmodifier.

Also discussed what each part can consist of, such as classes of determiners.

We also looked at adjective order: attributive vs. predicative, along with gradability and comparison/superlative forms.

Students then practiced with a few exercises.

Today we watched (and learned from) one of the Oxford Union Debates that was recorded and uploaded onto YouTube.

It is imperative that all students who missed the class watch the first three sections of the debate that we watched in class today, as this serves as a model for the debates that students will be carrying out for their oral exams.
