Reading and discussion of the short story "A Quiet Boy". Focused on Native American folklore such as the Wendigo and then moved on to some of the other major themes in the story such as the role of teachers, the horror genre, how to build suspense/create a feeling of fear, the concept of family, abuse, class, family responsibility, etc.
