First Oxford Union-style Debate

Today we had our first debate: It is better to be feared than loved with Bruna Barata, Vera Sousa, and Patrícia Martinho on the 'For' team and Inês Bossen and Teresa Pimentel on the 'Against' team. 

The winners of our first debate are...the 'For' team!  Congratulations to all on the successful opening of our debates.

Next class: we will be carrying out character analyses from the novel, and looking at the differences between novel version and film version of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.
