Example of a very good presentation video by a previous student on the course. Discussion about what makes it good.

Grammar: quick review of negative inversions and cleft sentences (2 structures students have found difficult).

Homework: 1) Prepare for Essay 2 evaluation next week; 2) Prepare for the grammar test; 3) choose your stand-up comedian and sign up on the oral presentation schedule.

Today, TP9 got feedback from their midterm tests (oral and written).


We then went on to read The (Other) You by Margaret Atwood.  The story is very long, so students should read the remainder of the story over the Easter Holidays.  They should also endeavour to read The Night by Ray Bradbury.  These have been uploaded on to the shared Google drive.
