Assessment will be continuous and will consist of the following:

One written test: 40%
Assignments to be presented orally in class: 35%
Attendance, homework and participation: 25%

There are three alternative dates for the written Test (choose ONE of the dates only): 24 October, 9 November, 14 December (see the Course Calendar, in the Course Book, p1).

Compulsory reading: Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman (2011).

NB:

1. Please buy the Course Book in the green photocopy shop.

2. My office hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 15h-16h in Instituto de Cultura Inglesa, but please make an appointment by email to paulah@fl.ul.pt
