Students worked in groups to analyze the descriptive elements of the following excerpts:
- The Journals of Sylvia Plath;
- The Diary of Virginia Woolf;
- two poems by Anne Michaels:
- There is no city that does not dream;
- Last night's moon.
Students must prepare a class presentation on their text outlining the descriptive tools used in their piece and illustrating the overall mood of it.
One group presented: Constança, Rute, Mariana and Joana.
The remaining groups will present next class.
