We went trough the syllabus (topics, evaluation, format of the course, etc.). This was followed by a general introduction into Aristotle's plan in his Metaphysics to investigate what wisdom is, characterised initially as a free science of first principles and causes (cf. Metaphysics 1.1-3, 4.1).
