Reading: Text 5 - Owen Jones's 'This column does not express support for Palestine Action – here’s why'

26 Fevereiro 2026, 14:00 Hilda Alexandra Prazeres Eusebio

Today, TP7 finished reading  Text 6, Sally Ballas's 'What good is the sparkle of Strictly if young people in Britain aren’t getting the chance to dance?'  Students who missed this class should finish reading this at home.

We then went on to read the first eight (8) paragraphs of Text 5, Owen Jones's 'This column does not express support for Palestine Action – here’s why'.  (I know, this was a change of plans, but I felt we should read it.)  Students who missed today's class should catch up on this reading.

Next class: We're going to finish Text 5 and then move on to Text 9: Cathy Reay's 'A message to the NHS: disabled people like having sex, too'.
