Reading and discussion of the short story "Are We Not Men?". Focused on the advantages/disadvantages to genetic modification along with other moral/ethical issues raised in the story.
There was also a strong focus on interpersonal relations and the lack of communication as a reflection of our time.
Students had an optional writing assignment on whether they think gene editing technology is a good idea or not (opinion essay)
