SS8 - In this Sort of World the Asshole Wins

We discussed the short story "In This Sort of World the Asshole Wins", focusing on some of the main themes presented such as trauma, abuse, mental health, addiction, coping styles and the main character's overall powerlessness. We then started reading the continuation of this story: "How Far Can you Get on an Empty Tank of Gas". Students were asked to finish reading this story for homework.
