How to write an essay writing - Wonder Woman: it's all about flow.

9 Abril 2018, 14:00 Hilda Alexandra Prazeres Eusebio

Wonder Woman Rules.

Students analyzed a pre-written essay (written by the teacher).  The essay, entitled Wonder Woman: Carrying the Weight of the World was used for the students to:
  1. identify the thesis (and learn about the dos and don'ts about how to come up with a good one);
  2. identify the techniques used to create a smooth flow between arguments (i.e. that the first half of the first sentence of each subsequent paragraph refers to the topic addressed in the previous paragraph, while the second half of the same sentence introduces the topic of the following topic);
  3. some of the basic rules of citation and bibliography (although these will be addressed in much greater detail at a later date).
