Reading and discussion of the short story "Boys Go to Jupiter". We discussed some of the main themes such as racism and symbols or images that can be denounced as racist. We also discussed the main character's personal trauma, how to process it, her guilt in connection to her inaction and detachment from historical events.

We did the first episode of a NYTimes podcast that talked about how the internet has radicalized people. A series of questions on the podcast itself were asked and students debated on the pros an cons to Youtube and its algorithm.
