Grammar review: the noun phrase and adjectives

The noun
phrase was reviewed in terms of head noun, pre- and postmodifiers, and
determines.
We also
looked at adjectives (attributive vs. predicative). We then covered the
gradability and comparison of adjectives. Students were asked to do a few
exercises to practice these grammatical areas.
Homework was
assigned from the grammar book and this included reading and doing the
corresponding exercises for 1B, 3B and 8B.
