Third person storytelling - Dressing up for the Carnival by Carol Shields

17 Outubro 2022, 17:00 Hilda Alexandra Prazeres Eusebio

Today we finished our analysis of Margaret Atwood's True Trash.  Again, those who did not come to today's class must read this at home.  It is available on the One Drive.

We then began reading Dressing up for the Carnival by Carol Shields.

Homework: finish reading the story.

Questions for you:
  • How does this story differ from Atwood's True Trash?
  • With what did the author replace the plot that usually dominates stories?
