Storytelling Lisboa - Field Trip!

Today, TP and I went on our field trip to Storytelling Lisboa.  It was an awesome night!


Next class: we will discuss the stories that we heard on Wednesday night (i.e. whether or not they met our success criteria: Introduction, Development, Climax, Resolution and Topic).  Following this, we will begin to read more second and third voice texts.

Today we analyzed Ray Bradbury's The Night.  We then began to read A Perfect Day for Bananafish by J.D. Salinger.

Today, TP4 (barely) engaged in a class discussion on Joyce Carol Oates's The (Other) You (as only three students actually bothered to do their homework and finish reading the text).


We then began to read Ray Bradbury's The Night, another second voice text.

Students are to finish reading the story and should be prepared to share their analysis next class.
