Warm-up activity: worksheet with illustrations from
children’s books. Students tried to name the books individually, and then, in
pairs, matched the illustrations to titles on a given list.

feedback.
HOMEWORK: Watch the video Babies, an award-winning 1-hour
documentary charting and comparing the early development of individual babies
in Japan, the USA, Mongolia and Namibia.
