18 Outubro 2017, 14:00 Tânia Joesephine Gregg Lopes da Silva

Techniques for making arguments persuasive were discussed and practiced in class (e.g. reporting facts or statistics, referring to known events, avoiding anecdotal examples).
Students were taught the procedures for formal debating based on the Oxford model.
A debate was simulated in class (This House believes in a Free Press) according to the Oxford model where students were obliged to argue in favour or against the motion, regardless of their own personal opinions.
