We started working on a consumer oriented text - in this case, a travel guide. As the text had lots of wordplays related to American English and Boston we focused on ways to overcome these problems.

We finished up the first chapter of Maus, focusing on how to translate some of the broken English used by the character while maintaining the essence of the writing style. We focused on a few strategies and keeping the text coherent.
