Reading Assignment and Research Project Proposal: Instructions and Guidelines

A detailed email was sent to all students on 13 March with the following guidelines:

1. Research Project Proposal

The RPP is due on Thursday, 19 March, but please send it to me before 9 am on Thursday, as I intend to send you feedback, by email, during our normal class time, i.e, 10h-12h on Thursday

2. Reading Assignment

You may, therefore,  send me your Reading Assignments by email at any time before 2 April. I will then provide feedback by email.

I do need to know, by Tuesday, 17 March,  iwho has chosen to do the Reading Assignment and which text you will be working on. 

3. Meet Vincent van Gogh

The meet Vincent van Gogh exhibition organisers agreed to refund me for 12 tickets. I will pick up the  other 38 tickets, which will be issued without a date.

When we get back to class  I will give each of you your ticket so that you may go to the exhibition (running until the end of May) when you see fit. 

For those of you who cannot or do not want to go, I will give you back your €6, but please bear in mind that I can only do this for 12 students.

An email was sent to students on 10 March with detailed instructions and guidelines on course work and expected progress during the two-week class suspension.


Instructions have been provided on the following:
  1. Research Project Proposal to be submitted by email on 19 March
  2. Reading Assignment to be submitted on 2 April
  3. Set readings to be completed
  4. Power Point Presentations on selected chapters/themes have been uploaded in e-learning.
  5. Support system and communication with teacher
Further instructions will be posted in Fenix and sent to students by email.
