In today's class, we reviewed the homework by examining special uses of tenses. We then read and discussed the short story "The School," focusing on its central themes of death and mortality, particularly how these concepts are addressed in the narrative. We explored the role of education in preparing children for life's realities and discussed the story's absurdity and dark humor, which highlight life's unpredictability. Additionally, we examined taboo topics in education and defined absurdist fiction. For homework, students were given the option to rewrite the story from one of the characters' (students') perspective.
