Class 12

Students discussed generational differences in Portugal and the U.S. and compared and contrasted the differences between the the U.S. Baby Boomer generation and the Millennial generation of which they are a part. Students read an article on Millennials and reflected by the author's statements. The underlying message was that generations are not different because of the individuals that are part of them but rather shaped by the world that surrounds them.  Students then examined a passage from counterculture author and founder of "gonzo journalism" Hunter S. Thompson and reflected on the meaning of this passage in regard to generational differences.
