Discussion and practise of transforming telling sentences into showing sentences.

Presented students with guidelines they need to follow for their Descriptive Texts to be submitted on Weds 17th May Have them check list below.

•1. Do I get a clear picture of what the text is describing?
•a) the character(s), b) the location •
2) Do you enter the world described?
•3) What do they (characters and/or location)  look like? Feel like?
•4) Underline sections that are not clear to you
•5) Underline verbs and nouns that you think could be stronger
•6 ) Underline sections that you think need more descriptive elements.
