Jumpha Lahiri and her voluntary exile

Students watched an interview with the American writer J.Lahiri, where she described her journey through learning Italian, which eventually took her to live in Italy. We spoke about Lahiri's statement "My blindness is a point of view". We also discussed challenges that interpreters and translators face and why translating can be inspiring as a learning process.
