Students had read the texts in the manual on the role of the arts and imagination (p 21-28) and had prepared a 3-minute talk on points from a particular text. Students presented their individual talk and this was followed by a general discussion of the themes presented in the texts.

The talk was an evaluated assignment.


Exile

We read and discusse Emanuel Melo´s "Exile" as well as discussed the documentary from the Examined Life series, with Judith Butler and Sunny Taylor.

We spoke about: exile, imapirment and disability, movement, interabled relationshipd, interdependence, belonging.
To be read for the next class: "Teach yourself Italian: For a writer , a foreign language is a new kind of advenure" by Jhumpa Lahiri.
