We then finished off grammar by learning about time prepositions, position prepositions and direction prepositions. Students should ensure that they do ALL of the prepositions exercises for homework:

Next class: we will complete our analysis of the exerpt from Maxine Hong Kingston's The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts (Knopf, 1976) and, following this, we will then go outsider to Campo Grande to do an outdoor descriptive writing exercise. Those who are late for class should head out to Campo Grande in the event that we are no longer to be found in the classroom.
